Hello and welcome! My name is Jocelyn Lemley, and I am an early childhood educator who is passionate about helping children learn, grow, and reach their fullest potential. Through my website, Ms. Jocelyn, I share educational resources, creative learning activities, and practical strategies that support children’s academic, social-emotional, and communication development.
I am a certified Preschool through Grade 3 teacher and a certified Teacher of Students with Disabilities. I earned my master’s degree in Family Science and Human Development from Montclair State University. My professional background and passion for early childhood education have shaped my approach to creating engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences for young children, particularly those in preschool and kindergarten.
I specialize in preschool and kindergarten curriculum, with a focus on building essential early learning skills. From early literacy and learning to read to foundational academic concepts, I believe children learn best when education is interactive, engaging, and tailored to their individual needs.
In addition to academics, I am passionate about teaching Kids Yoga and Mindfulness. I enjoy sharing child-friendly yoga activities, breathing exercises, and mindfulness techniques that help children develop self-regulation, body awareness, confidence, and emotional well-being.
I also teach American Sign Language (ASL) and love helping children and families explore visual communication. Learning ASL can support communication development, encourage inclusion, and introduce children to a valuable new language.
My goal is to make learning accessible, enjoyable, and meaningful for children, parents, caregivers, and educators. Whether you are looking for preschool learning activities, kindergarten educational resources, early reading strategies, beginner American Sign Language lessons, kids yoga poses, or mindfulness activities for children, my website offers resources to help you get started.
I understand that every child learns differently, and I believe in creating opportunities for all children to discover their strengths, develop new skills, and build confidence in their abilities.
Thank you for visiting Ms. Jocelyn! I’m excited to share my passion for education, movement, mindfulness, and communication with you. I hope you find resources that inspire curiosity, encourage growth, and make learning a joyful part of your child’s everyday life.
Let’s make learning fun, meaningful, and accessible for every child!
